The very first request Negin & Soheil had was: “we want our ceremony in the middle of the Mayan jungle. We want it to be green.” They wanted to be wrapped in nature as they said their vows and together, we set out to find the perfect venue to do just that yet be convenient for guests at the same time. Hacienda Tres Rios does just that. An environmentally friendly hotel situated directly beside 326 acres of pristine tropical rainforests intersected by three winding freshwater rivers. It is home to ten cenotes, 120 species of plants and 131 species of animals. It is the only nature park on the Yucatan Peninsula that includes three distinct ecosystems, jungle, mangrove forest and Coastal dunes. A few logistical golf cart drives through the jungle later, we found the perfect spot for Ceremony, paired with the perfect location at the hotel itself for reception. Our bride and groom were encircled by nature as they said their vows while guests were comfortable and well heeled as they danced the night away.
