A Mexico City destination wedding offers a unique opportunity to celebrate within the vibrant, architectural heart of one of the world’s most iconic capitals. For this romantic celebration, Proyecto Publico Prim provided the perfect setting—a historic mansion that feels both weathered and incredibly sophisticated. Ultimately, the day was a masterclass in modern romance, blending the city’s soulful history with contemporary, editorial design.
Designing a Mexico City destination wedding requires a balance of the venue’s raw texture and polished, intentional decor. For this event, the floral installations were kept organic and airy, enhancing the mansion’s natural character without overwhelming it. Instead of a traditional ballroom, the ceremony took place in a courtyard surrounded by vines and historic stonework. Indeed, the transition from the ceremony to the candlelit reception created a mood that was both moody and deeply romantic.
