Warm jungle air. Candlelight flickering against raw stone. Evelyn and Mike’s NU Tulum destination wedding was a masterclass in intentional celebration—proof that a smaller guest count, when paired with thoughtful design and pacing, can create an experience that feels deeply immersive and unforgettable.
With just 22 guests in attendance, the couple designed a wedding weekend that unfolded slowly, allowing space for presence, connection, and meaning. This NU Tulum destination wedding began the evening before with a relaxed welcome gathering at Nest Villa, where handcrafted margaritas, local Yucatán bites, and golden-hour light set a tone of ease and intimacy. Rather than over-programming the weekend, Evelyn and Mike leaned into flow—giving guests time to arrive, unwind, and truly settle into the destination.

As the sun dipped below the horizon, the celebration transitioned seamlessly into cocktail hour and dinner. Long wooden tables, layered candlelight, curated florals, and locally inspired cuisine created an atmosphere that invited lingering, where conversation flowed as easily as the wine.
